Hello and Welcome to our quarterly edition of
Production Notes
I want to share with our clients some exciting
news surrounding our recent migration to ADP’s new Data Centers. As many of you know, ADP has always been committed to
maintaining a fully operational Disaster Recovery and Service Continuity Plan.
This strategy is aimed at preventing
controllable events from escalating into a disaster as well as eliminating single points of
failure. Our new Data Centers, located in Alpharetta, Georgia and South Dakota are Tier IV
Data Centers that ensures 99.995% availability and protects our client’s data by utilizing
World Class Facilities, Security and Resources. This allows ADP to provide immediate
responses and subsequent recovery from any unplanned service interruptions. Both centers run
redundantly in the event of a disaster at either of our data sites.
ADP’s Data Centers are designed to create a
state of readiness that will provide our clients with an immediate response to any of the
following incident scenarios:
-
Incidents causing physical damage such as
fire, smoke or water.
-
Incidents which indirectly affect facility
access such as closure due to a storm, an emergency building evacuation due to a threat
or an external threat such as fire.
-
Impending or unexpected regional disasters
such hurricane or flood.
-
External incidents which potentially could
cause a service interruption, such as loss of electrical or telecommunication services.
The primary objectives are to ensure the
continuity of the business, to minimize the inconvenience and potential disruption to clients
and to prevent ADP and most importantly, our clients from sustaining financial and operational
impacts that could be devastating.
We are proud to offer our clients the security
and peace of mind these state of the art facilities provide.
I would like to close by thanking each of you
and reminding you that ADP is committed to World Class Service. It is the core of our service
culture and will always be the foundation of our business partnerships.
Best Regards,
Ralph M. Corrubia
